As sponsors of the world-famous event, Bentley has its largest ever presence, featuring a range of Bentley models past and present, running from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2012.
The 'Home of Bentley' at Goodwood features a range of Bentley models, as well as a vision of the company's future - the EXP 9 F as a vision of the company's future - the EXP 9 F SUV concept. On its UK premiere, EXP 9 F highlights the marque's desire to build the fastest and most luxurious SUV in the world.
Joining the EXP 9 F on display is the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification (MDS) and the new Continental GT V8 - which will also be going 'up the Hill'. Joining the modern Bentley models on the Hill are two cars from the Company's Le Mans heritage. The Bentley Speed 8 that was victorious at the 2003 Le Mans 24 Hours will make two runs per day, as will the 41/2-litre supercharged "Team Car" that was raced extensively by renowned Le Mans winner and Bentley Boy Tim Birkin in the 1920s. Fresh from completing the Mille Miglia for the third time, the Team Car will be driven at Goodwood by Bentley's Chairman and Chief Executive, Wolfgang Dürheimer.
Driving duties for the Bentley models fall to three modern-day Bentley Boys. Le Mans legend Derek Bell MBE will be joined by four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen together with Guy Smith, who drove the winning Speed 8 across the finish line at Le Mans in 2003. All three star drivers will be on-hand throughout the Festival to meet visitors. More information on Bentley's presence at Goodwood will be announced soon so please come back for more details.
